A local pastor was murdered for a long lost ancient cross - the day Magellan was killed by Rapp Rapp in the Battle of Mactan, he held the cross in his hand. Alex, Kay, and Ernesto must solve the priest's murder case and find the lost person across from them. When Alex's friend at the local gym was found murdered, he conducted an investigation and found out that his friend was involved in an underground badminton game. Alex and Ernesto must go undercover as badminton players to solve the murder case. Alex met a ship mechanic who was falsely accused of murder in a remote fishing village, and together with Kai and Ernesto, they disintegrated in an international smuggling operation and resolved the local blood feud. When Alex temporarily moved in with Ernesto, he was caught up in a family drama that spanned generations and decades, proving that in fact, the past will never disappear. It didn't even pass. Alex's ex-wife and her new fianc é appeared together, demanding that Alex sign her divorce documents. But when his fianc é was mistaken for Alex and kidnapped by an old enemy, Alex found himself competing to rescue the person. During the traditional Ghost Month in the Philippines, Alex seemed to be visited by the soul of a deceased person who was wrongly accused of committing a crime and seeking justice in the afterlife. Before the grand opening of the Mactan new resort casino owned and operated by the Villegas family, Ann Villegas recruited Alex to test the casino's security system. Kai and Alex worked as undercover agents for a new and old couple in a self-help retreat to rescue an innocent young woman from the clutches of a dangerous cult. When Alex represented his lover Ann Villegas in the murder investigation, he was forced to make friends with an elderly couple with special personality traits. Alex undercover as a prisoner, with the help of Kai and Enesto, figured out how The Waterboard managed his criminal empire from prison.
